Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how Nitoriq users, customers, workspace admins, connected-platform account owners, Shopify merchants, and eligible end users can request deletion of data associated with Nitoriq.

Nitoriq is operated by ByteAssembly. References to "Nitoriq," "we," "us," and "our" mean ByteAssembly operating the Nitoriq service.

This page is intended to support privacy requests and app-review deletion URL requirements for platforms that require public deletion instructions.

1. Request deletion from Nitoriq

To request deletion, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Nitoriq account or connected platform account. Include the workspace name, connected provider, shop domain, app name, or account ID involved, if you have it.

Please include any details that help us identify the relevant data:

  • Nitoriq workspace name.
  • Account email address.
  • Connected provider name.
  • Connected ad account, business account, or profile ID.
  • Shopify shop domain.
  • App name shown in the provider account.
  • A short description of the data you want deleted.

We may need to verify your identity, confirm workspace ownership, or route the request to the relevant Nitoriq customer if Nitoriq processes the data on that customer's behalf.

2. Account and workspace deletion

Nitoriq account owners and authorized workspace admins can request deletion of their account or workspace by contacting [email protected].

When an account or workspace is deleted, we will delete or disable access to associated workspace data according to applicable law, customer instructions, platform requirements, product retention rules, backup cycles, and legal or security obligations.

You are responsible for exporting any reports, records, or workspace data you need before requesting deletion.

3. End-user deletion requests

If you are an end user whose data may have been processed through a website, landing page, Shopify store, campaign, tracking domain, or other property operated by a Nitoriq customer, we may process your data on behalf of that customer.

In that case, we may need to direct your request to the relevant customer or process it according to that customer's instructions, unless applicable law or platform rules require Nitoriq to act directly.

4. Disconnect a connected platform

Workspace admins can disconnect supported provider accounts inside Nitoriq where the product supports it. You can also revoke Nitoriq's access from the provider's own app, security, business, or connected-app settings.

After an integration is disconnected or revoked, Nitoriq will stop using the revoked token for new imports, reporting syncs, conversion deliveries, or other provider actions. We will delete, disconnect, or retain related provider data according to applicable law, provider requirements, customer instructions, security needs, and product retention rules.

5. Meta, Facebook, and Instagram data

If you connected a Meta, Facebook, or Instagram account to Nitoriq, you can remove Nitoriq from your Meta account or business integration settings. You can also email [email protected] with the subject line "Meta Data Deletion Request".

Please include the app name shown in Meta, the connected business or ad account if known, and the Nitoriq workspace involved.

After receiving a valid request, we will review the request, verify the relevant account or workspace where needed, and delete or disconnect applicable Meta-related data according to Meta requirements, applicable law, and customer instructions.

6. Google data

If you connected a Google account to Nitoriq, you can revoke Nitoriq's access from your Google account permissions or disconnect the integration inside Nitoriq where available.

You can also email [email protected] with the subject line "Google Data Deletion Request". Please include the Google account, Google Ads account, Google property, or Nitoriq workspace involved, if known.

After disconnection or a valid deletion request, Nitoriq will stop using the revoked Google credentials for new imports, reporting syncs, conversion deliveries, or related integration actions. We will delete or retain Google-related data according to applicable law, Google API requirements, customer instructions, legal obligations, security needs, and product retention rules.

7. TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, and other data

For other connected platforms, you can revoke Nitoriq's access from the provider account settings or disconnect the account inside Nitoriq where available.

You can also email [email protected] with the provider name, workspace name, connected account details, and a short description of the data you want deleted.

We will process the request according to applicable law, provider requirements, customer instructions, and product retention rules.

8. Shopify store data

Shopify merchants can uninstall the Nitoriq app from Shopify or contact us at [email protected]. Nitoriq also handles Shopify mandatory privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction where applicable.

When Shopify sends an applicable privacy webhook, we will acknowledge and process the request according to Shopify requirements, applicable law, customer instructions, and any legal retention obligations.

9. What we generally delete or disconnect

Depending on the request and the data involved, deletion may include:

  • Nitoriq account records.
  • Workspace records.
  • Connected-platform credentials and tokens.
  • Connected account mappings.
  • Imported reporting data.
  • Campaign, attribution, and tracking records.
  • Shopify store, order, customer, or event data.
  • Shared report links.
  • Integration logs and sync records.
  • Support records connected to the request, where deletion is required and legally permitted.

Some deletion requests may require workspace owner approval, customer instruction, or identity verification before we can act.

10. What may be retained

We may retain limited information where required or permitted by law, contract, platform requirements, fraud prevention, security, billing, tax, audit, dispute resolution, backup cycles, or customer instructions.

We may also retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information that no longer identifies a person or specific account.

Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period before they are overwritten or removed through normal backup cycles.

11. Confirmation and timing

After receiving a deletion request, we will review it and may contact you for additional information. Where required, we will confirm completion or explain why some information could not be deleted.

Timing may depend on the type of data, verification needs, customer instructions, provider requirements, legal obligations, and backup cycles. For Shopify privacy webhook requests, we process applicable requests according to Shopify's required timelines, including completing required actions within 30 days unless legal retention prevents deletion.
